Sara Pedapati

Hi!

I'm Sara Pedapati

Driven by a lifelong curiosity about the relationship between policy and society. Through my experiences, I have engaged with policies through personal, legislative, and cumulative views. I focus on bridging the gap between political frameworks and real-world solutions.

I have dedicated countless hours to exploring how history and policy shape modern life. My deep dive into U.S. History, which allowed me to qualify for the National U.S. History Bee, allowed me to understand how policies shaped the past. Through my work with Ferreyra Law Group and my experience in both policy and public forum debate, I have seen the modern effect of policies at both a personal and cumulative level. These experiences, combined with my unique love for English and rhetoric, fueled my passion for advocacy.

My core belief is equitable representation; the idea that a government should mirror its nation’s demographics. That is the only true way to represent the needs of the many truly. Here, I take a look at the biggest discrepancy: Gender equality. Where half the population makes up less than a fourth of the government.

Outside of policy, you can typically find me in the middle of a heated competitive or even informal debate, taking a photo of some random thing ‘I love the color contrast of’, or spending hours in a history museum. Beyond my three major passions, I am also a big animal lover, an avid recipe experimenter, and a gigantic classic comic nerd (My big three are Peanuts, Calvin & Hobbes, and Breaking Cat News).”
